GS Medical College & Hospital has been permitted by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India vide Letter No. U-12012/127/2016-ME-1 [FTS.3084749] dated 31st May 2017 with annual intake of 150 MBBS students for the academic year 2017-18 under section 10A of the IMC Act, 1956 under Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. The intake of the seat has been increased to 250 seats from the academic year 2024-25.GSMC&H is affiliated to Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow from Academic Session 2021-22.
